Class Descriptions

Performance Drama : $195 Per term.

You’ve done enough crazy voices and shows at home and you’re just keen to give it a go and you want to try one of our classes - take the next step into performance drama. This class is designed for students aged 6-12 years (Primary School Age) who have a real interest in drama and performing arts and you want top take it to the next level. You still want to have fun and build confidence, self awareness and creative skills but you want to get on that stage. Students will be learning specific acting techniques and skills which they will use in various performances through out the year as well as exclusive access to extra online content and learning.  We’ll also introduce students to screen acting, with the opportunity to perform in front of the camera—just like on a film or TV set. This helps build on-camera confidence, awareness of how to work in filmed scenes, and an understanding of the difference between stage and screen performance.
Some of the work created during these sessions will be filmed, giving children the chance to experience performing on camera. These scenes will be shared via a private, secure link for families to enjoy.

Advanced Performance : $195 Per term.

This class is designed for young adults aged 12-18 years (High School Age) who want to take their skills to the next level. As well as building confidence, self-awareness and using creative skills, we also explore acting techniques, writers and theories such as Improvisation, Physical Theatre, Stanislavski, Minsner, Brecht, Shakespeare and Pinter.  Students will also have the chance to learn about the Film and TV industry and exclusive access to extra online content. The Advanced group will get the chance to perform each term with a major showcase and a Film and TV presentation.
